If you like beer and/or bourbon, when I went back in January I really liked Oak and Steel in the Crossroads, along with Taps on Main a couple blocks away (which is apparently a Bills hangout).... I think the latter has been around a bit, but I think Oak and Steel is relatively new.

Outlaw Cigar & Brewery..make their own beer & cigars and a pretty decent whiskey/cigar selection....

Knuck's has open jam on Sat & Sun afternoons

Head to the George Brett statue

Crossroads Hotel has a bad ass rooftop bar with an excellent view of the skyline. They also have a great bar on the first floor.

Loews Hotel also has a fantastic bar and I think they serve food as well.

Prime Social/Ocean Prime on the Plaza- Good food and a fantastic view on the plaza its on the 16th floor

Stockhill Steakhouse on the south plaza if you're looking for a good steak

If you can get there before noon the farmers market in the river market is awesome looks of produce, shopping, restaurants.

Nelson art museum has a pretty cool exhibit right now and it's free.
