Bob Dole needs a huge assist this morning
 

I'm headed to MCI in about an hour to pick up Katie and her husband Rick on my way to NZoner's. We exchanged digits Thursday and she was going to send me the flight info and keep me updated. That's all great, except driving up from Texas yesterday, my cell phone died because the charging port took a shit.

I have no way to communicate after I get on the road in 30 minutes. I've managed to figure out the terminal and gate based on the known airline and arrival time, but that's it. I'm about to make a giant "KATIE" sign. We haven't seen each other in probably a decade, and I left her a PM last night but haven't gotten a reply.

If you have her number, could you please let her know I'm coming in blind and deaf. Or call NZoner and ask him to let her know. Or call Bugeater and have him call Joe who can call Katie to let her know. Or... You get the picture.

Any assistance would be great. I'll be wearing a tan KC Championship cap, a red Chiefs hoodie under a gray jacket, blue jeans, white beard and holding a stupid KATIE sign like the worst driver ever.

I checked and unfortunately, she doesn't have her phone number in her profile, just her next of kin. I did however, do a copy and past of your post and sent it to her via email, so hopefully she checks that at some point.
