August vs November

August:

Bills are the class of the league
Allen is the best QB in the league
Mahomes will miss Hill badly
Chiefs offense will fall off without Hill
AFC West will be a monster, Chiefs could finish 3rd or even 4th

November:

Chiefs are the 1 seed
Allen leads the league in INTs
Mahomes is the MVP
Chiefs have the best offense in the league
Broncos and Raiders are gutter trash; Chargers are the Chargers

There are more fun ones of course. Posting on mobile isn't fun.

I don't really care what the hot takes are in August. Results are the only thing that matters from here on out.

Win next week against the Chargers and focus on getting the #1 seed

Awesome post and so true.

In fairness, back in August nobody knew we would land Toney.

A lot of people will forget this once again, like every other year, next March when someone signs some free agent or something and the sky is falling all over again.

Lol, those same idiots wanted to fire Andy, Spags, and Toub. Oh, and cut Butker when we were up by double digits.

It's worse than when my ex was on the rag and forgot to take her midol.ROFL

What the Chiefs are proving right now is they are legitimately beginning a Patriots’ like run as owners of this conference for the next 10 years.

Doesn’t matter what other teams do or how many players the Chiefs lose, as long as Reid and Mahomes are here, the AFC runs through Arrowhead. That’s all there is to it.

it's mahomes' league, everyone else is just playing in it

Pretty much yeah. Veach/Reid/Mahomes is better than their core. Only difference might be that KC won't have such a pathetic division for 15 years, and won't get as lucky as NE did so many times in the biggest of spots. So I dunno about 6 SB but for sure 3+ before 2030.

It is weird to me that fans of a team as universally heralded as the Chiefs to the point its annoying (and I am a Chiefs fans) feel the need to create narratives where they are victims.

As long as we keep re-stocking.

The incredible haul of secondary players in this draft is a big boon for the future.

Toney and Moore (yes, Moore, he'll be fine) as the youngsters in the WR corps. Noah Gray is coming along. Juju is 25. Only Kelce is an old man, and he still looks like Kelce. He'll be able to sit down in the open spot forever, although his run after catch abilities might slow in time.

Just need a fatboy draft to rival this year's secondary draft and we'll be in business next year and beyond, too.
