Is Chiefsplanet seriously going to outlive Twitter?
 

This might be destined for DC, but for some reason this will feel like a major achievement on this website if that happens.

Forums like this have taken a huge hit with social media. Out of the Tech, Life, Music, Baseball and Nintendo forums I was a part of in high school, it's amazing that this is the place that not only survived, but it still thriving (while outliving and far suprassing the Chargers, Raiders, and Bronco forum equivalents).

Funny thing is that I wouldn't know about the imminent demise of Twitter if I hadn't first seen a bunch of people tweeting about it.

Crazy what's happening on Twitter right now. Rumor is that their entire HR department has resigned. Some reports saying that 1/3 of the remaining force has quit today. Musk is the very definition of capitalist scum. Treating emoloyees as if they were his cattle.

I have worked at my current job for the past 7 years and even though it can be stressful at times, the management is amazing and the owner is so humble and down to earth. That is why I still work where I work. I am treated well and with respect. The company provides workers with full health benefits and daily quality meals. It's why people rarely quit.
Twitter has always provided meals to their hardworking staff. Musk comes in and takes that away. And demands them to work 12 hr shifts. It's insulting and inhumane.

I went to "Twitter.com" the first time just a couple of minutes ago. Seems like it is working just as well as any other website.

Not everyone has quit. But a large chunk, 1/3 has been reported, seems to have quit, including their entire human resources department.
