watching football

It comes to my attention that watching other nfl teams is like watching paint dry. My favorite team the Chiefs are most exciting team always. Just way better even my stepmom who don't like sports think the chiefs are more exciting then the cowboys who her full blooded sons love.

p.s.Even before QB 1 The Chiefs were exciting deberg and his play action plays. DT calling his safety. Dante Hall kickoff return. Len Dawson quick strikes to Qtis and Willie Lanier monster sacks.

Yes sir, watching these teams makes you realize why the Chiefs are always playing prime time games and are always the #1 games on Sunday afternoons. They are just so much more entertaining.

It's no wonder TV wants them on primetime as much as possible.

At least this years games have been watchable. I didn't watch one second of last year's games

Then explain why we’ve been forced to watch Dungvers anemic offense so many times?

Walmart and trying to get the Dungver fans re-energized. So much for that. LMAO

We are in the golden age of football. Not only as chiefs fans but as a whole. We probably aren’t far from a Europe expansion and more games. Then games every night. And pretty soon a watered down product like the NBA.

The golden age of football is LOOOOOONG past. The product the NFL is currently packaging to sell to us consumers is insulting. If I wasn't a fan in the 70's and 80's, I wouldn't be a fan now. Granted, our team currently fields a QB that is a generational kinda talent, but other than that, I would be just as happy watching the grass grow.

I proposed (snarkily ) to the guy that arranges our county fair a few years ago to do some form of NFL parody game where the QB wears a skirt and if anybody touches them, everybody in the audience blows a whistle and throws a yellow hankey in the air! He got a chuckle, but didn't think it would work.

It's come to.my attention that I'm not the only one, that apparently there are others too that have the Kansas City Chiefs as their favorite team just like me. I thought I was the only one. This brings me good cheer. I'd buy everyone a beer.

It is a blessing on this day of Thanks that I am not the only one that worships the Chiefs and it has also come to my attention that most on this website are Chiefs fans also. God is good.

Respectfully, the 80s may have been more pure, but was largely less entertaining. 3 yards and a cloud of dust vs 13 seconds? Give me 13 seconds all day. The NFL worked hard to sneak in stuff to make it more entertaining. Now my favorite team, The Kansas City Chiefs, have a quarter back built in a lab to take advantage of the new rules, and a coach whos playbook would take einstein a month to digest.

It's just a matter of preference I guess. I miss the days when the refs would let the boys play. Players were carried off the field in buckets because they were beat to shreds. And those punishing backs that would pound the rock like Okoye.

But I completely agree with you on Mahomes. He is custom built for todays game. The man is a stud for sure :thumb:
