She seemed unbeatable every time I'd watch her play. She was amazing. And gorgeous.

Yeah, all of that. Learned a lot about how to play watching her and the other women on ESPN2 back then. And then about 15 years ago she came to a poolhall here in phx and I went so I could play a game with her.

She was still gorgeous, and still one of the best players in the world. Played three games for $300 total. She kicked my ass and she wasn't really trying. But it was incredible to see her play up close.

Where was that tournament?

She is a very nice person, and a great ambassador for billiards. Her physical appearance, as misogynistic as that is, helped promote billiards as it started to become a televised sport.
