You think an undrafted free agent is a wild card week replacement for our longest tenured starter?

And if we're assuming Hardman doesn't return, Toney HAS to stay healthy.

Futures contract workout; just looking to see if he's someone we may want to bring to camp next year.

Completely unrelated to Hardman's health, IMO. It's not like we're going to bring this guy off the street to start running Mecole's routes or anything.

Maybe we're finally smartening up and taking Toney off punt returns and don't concurrently have to put Moore back there.

He was activated from IR to the 53 last week.

Eh - the Chiefs did not play the Ravens this year, and could matchup against them if the Ravens beat the Bengals. Nothing more than getting some additional insight into a team you could wind up playing. Wouldn't be surprised if the Chiefs kick the tires on some guy who was tied to the Dolphins either.

He'll have 2 more weeks to heal up, but I think he's probably on his way out of KC, tenured or not.
