Largest contract for an off ball LB. People were arguing with me that Nick Bolton wouldn't get $15 mil/yr. This isn't a good sign for us keeping Bolton, because if the CAP doesn't fly sky high, then idk if they keep him.

Bolton doesn't get turnovers, if you notice the off ball LB's getting the huge deals are the ones that can cover and create turnovers..

Smith, Leonard, Warner....Nick Bolton doesn't have their athletic profile.

Smith has 8 INTs in 5 seasons and before this year he had 5 in 4 seasons. Right now Bolton is a top 3-5 ILB and will probably be top 3 for sure next year. If he wants to be the top paid ILB, then someone will give him that.

Yes, he specifically played a lot better once the team acquired Smith. The Ravens completely changed the complexion of their defense when they got
him.

Very few teams are built for his skill set. Some team that isn’t will pay him a king’s ransom and instantly regret it.
