Mahomes was named AFC offensive player of the Month for November

McKinnon was named AFC offensive player of the month for December.


We're living in the best times EVER as Chiefs fans.

And the rest of our roster is young and stacked!

I also like the Chiefs. Surprised to see so many Chiefs fans on ChiefsPlanet dot com.

Unexpected, but welcome imo.

Best thing with these two is Mahomes showing he can and will make full use of a great receiving back.

Mahomes did this with ease in the 2018 season & 2019 playoffs. It's crazy that we forgot just how a pass catching RB added a whole other element to Mahomes game.

Last year Darrell Williams had almost 500 yds receiving.

The wild thing if you think about it is we didn't even bring McKinnon back until July

My hope is that when McKinnon is killing Cincy that this time Andy keeps feeding him the ball and we run those boys off the field like we should have last year.

For sure, but I think it's that red zone effectiveness and the ability to get 6 as a pass catcher that gave Kareem, Damien Williams, and now McKinnon that extra gear to take Mahomes and our offense's game to that next element.

He did that with Damien Williams against the Titans in the AFC Championship game (the Titans were dropping 7-8), and it's what salted away the game. Not sure if he didn't quite trust Jerick last year but now there are no excuses.

McKinnon has been our poor man's J. Charles this year in a RB by committee approach. Defenses have a ton to worry about and he makes them pay dearly when they forget about him. It's been pretty special. Mahomes no-look sling pass that went for a long TD to McKinnon is an all timer.

Running the football along with the short passing game with McKinnon will be crucial to this years Super Bowl run. Spread the field and dump the ball off to Mckinnon. Good for 5-8 yards every time at least. Lets fckn go boys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

McKinnon has become his safety valve No.2 next to Kelce it seems and in some cases McKinnon is No.1.
