Yep. Crazy stuff. Same play, different side of the field, both of them wide open.

This play call was used by Doug Pederson Jags vs the Eagles this year very successfully. Andy saw that and used it perfection. They followed Kelce and the result was 2 TD’s.

I mean, we basically built 2 td plays by exploiting phillys obvious tendency against jet sweep. Toney and skyy ran that same whip route on opposite sides of the field for each of their TDs. Even when the eagles adjusted it was the whip that led to Bradberry holding. Last Super Bowl was about wasp, this game was about whip.

Andy Reid definitely believes in keeping some plans under his hat to use in the bigger games.

It would be interesting to know where along the way he prioritized that.

Wonder if it was as far back as BYU and LaVelle Edwards or if Mike Holmgren was an influence.

The second touchdown using this play is an indictment of the Philly coaching staff. They should have adjusted after seeing Toney walk untouched into the endzone.

If they adjust it just goes to Kelce for a TD.
