Johnston, Flowers, Addison, Hyatt, Mims, Mingo, Rice, Tillman

One of those guys will be a Chief.

Yeah, anyone who thinks the Chiefs had any interest in bringing him back, that comment should let you know exactly where they stood.

At the combine, Veach, Reid and the rest of the personnel staff spent most of their time interviewing receivers, offensive linemen and defensive linemen. Among the receivers, the group that appears to intrigue the Chiefs the most are Jalin Hyatt (Tennessee), Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Ohio State), Quentin Johnston (TCU), Zay Flowers (Boston College) and Rashee Rice (SMU).
Ok CP, for someone who doesn't follow college football that much, tell me about these guys. Who would you prefer the Chiefs draft?

ven before the Chiefs started their voluntary offseason program, Mahomes assembled a few of his receivers — including Valdes-Scantling, Moore and Justyn Ross — to conduct a passing session at TCU’s indoor facility.
No Toney?

How would you rank those guys?

Interesting quote here:

Quote:

“It seems like they figured out as long as you protect Mahomes, nothing else matters,” an anonymous team executive told The Athletic last month of the Chiefs’ offseason moves. “It is probably true.”

Funny that the exec says that after we let OBJ walk and sign Taylor to convert to LT. I mean I have total faith in the move, but for someone outside the organization to view our off-season as focused on protecting the QB... It doesn't say much for what the league thinks of OBJ.

Probably pulled a hammy getting on the plane.

In all seriousness I hope the Chiefs training staff can get him 'fixed.' He has insane talent but that means nothing if he is in street clothes for half the games.

I could've put Downs in that list as well, but I don't see them going with him at 31, and he's probably gone very early in the 2nd.

It's probably a good thing he's not there. He'd probably just get injured.
