Who are Chiefs' likeliest first-round draft picks per ESPN's draft day predictor?
ESPN Analytics recently put together a draft day predictor tool that’s quite unique. It scours ESPN’s mock drafts and pre-draft rankings to create charts showing the likeliest prospects to be selected by a team at a given pick.
Below you can find the top 10 players who are most likely to be selected by Kansas City in Round 1. There’s a healthy blend of positions and prospects, but five of those players play on the defensive line. Link: https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/list...son-likeliest/ |
Over 7% chance is the highest. Why not just say they have no clue?

The flaw here is it’s based only on ESPN mock input. All the mocks in the world wouldn’t fix it but if it went off of probability based on needs for every team off of different big boards it would be hella interesting.

The Chiefs have the last pick in the first round and if you told me someone was a 10% chance of being the pick, I’d say that’s pretty high given every possible permutation leading up to it. |
I think there is probably a 40% chance it will be none of the ten players mentioned in the story.
Brett Veach's ability to trade opens up the possibilities to many more players. |
We all already know we’re trading up for Levis!

Literally the two guys I want the most at 1 & 2. I’d love either one.

Personally knowing how the Chiefs pick, what they look for etc..
I'm assuming their top 4 is Quentin Johnston, Mazi Smith, Anton Harrison and Adebewore. I'm about 99.9% sure it's one of those guys. |
I'm disturbed by the lack of any mention of Flowers

This mock draft aggregator site reckons Anton Harrison is the most likely.
