NFL Draft Countdowns new mock is fire for the Chiefs

31. Quintin Johnston
63. Felix Anuduke-Uzomah
95. Jaelyn Duncan
122. Zach Kuntz
134. Israel Abanikanda
166. Cameron Young
178. Trevius Hodges-Tomlinson
217. Tyrus Wheat
249. Kahlef Hailassie
250. Jeremy Banks

Those first 5 picks are tremendous after that it's eh but I'd take that draft.

The Franchise 04-18-2023 03:26 PM

Uhhhh yeah. I think I’d take that.

I can Fap to this.

(Though I'm not at all high on Jaelyn Duncan and don't understand the folks that are - but in the 3rd round, that's a solid pick and a potential starting RT fairly quickly)

Ohh this is niceeee

They have Hodges-Tomlinson falling into the late 6th? Wow, that sure seems bearish on him.

I could see him going in the 4th. Seems more likely in the 5th but late 6th seems damn near impossible.

I am out on Jaelyn Duncan altogether. Over drafting him in the third is how a scout gets fired.

Chris Meck 04-18-2023 07:06 PM

I'd take that and be real happy.

Dunerdr 04-18-2023 09:09 PM

I’d be ****ing thrilled

A plus size athletic tackle with inconsistent technique? Sure seems like a late 3rd kind of pick.

No motor. Can't teach work ethic. Can't play in the NFL without it. There are also plus size athletic tackles throughout this draft. Seems deep in RT bodies.

What do people see in Quentin Johnston that he's potentially worthy of a 1st round pick? I keep watching his film and don't get it. When he does catch the ball, he's usually good for YAC, but damn, he doesnt catch with his hands, doesn't high point the ball, his routes look lazy as ****, i just don't get the hype. Kill me if you want, but I'd literally rather have Flowers, Hyatt, Perry, Mims, Scott, Rice or Mingo than Johnston. I don't think I would spend a 1st or 2nd on him tbh. Someone please explain it to me. What do you see?

I like it quite a lot but agree with others on Duncan. No idea how the first 2 picks fall to us but dang that'd be handy

Chris Jones had questions about his motor and effort coming out, just saying

kccrow 04-20-2023 11:47 AM

I wouldn't complain. There's enough in there I really like to make up for the guys I've fallen off a bit.

Direckshun 04-20-2023 12:10 PM

Good lord.

I'm not thrilled with the DT position, but that draft wins us a Super Bowl.
