F250 vs F350

Been looking at used F250's to help with my business and more importantly pull a 5th wheel camper(when I buy it) eventually down the road. I have been looking at 2019s and the towing for a fully loaded truck is a bit underwhelming for me. I looked at some f350s but I always thought they rode so much rougher. But the information I am finding says that the "beefier" pieces on the newer f350s aren't the parts that control the ride so the f250 and the f350 ride virtually the same. Anyone have any experience with this? It just seems that if the f350 and f250 ride the same and there isn't that much cost difference I would see a lot more f350s on the road vs f250s and that definitely doesn't seem to be the case.

If they ride the same, why buy an f250 over f350? They have the same engine and tranny, look the same, supposedly drive the same and the cost difference is fairly negligible.

I'd go 350 with the best diesel engine Ford offers.

For my money the 9th F series Ford trucks with the International IDIs are still a better truck today than anything Ford has offered in over decade.

Both have that new stupid window design that let's people see your passengers rolling blunts.

Used to be my favorite truck.

I have a 2012 F-250. Worked like a champ to haul my 5th wheel to South Dakota last year. I have an ultra-light camper, but still has plenty of power towing ~10,000 lbs loaded

Probably just some suspension and drivetrain components. F250 and 350 may share the same frame.

I know my 78 F250 Ranger's frame is twice as thick as a F150. That's what she says at least.

It used to be a standard rectangle. Now there is a little dip towards the front. If a driver sits high in their seat, you can see their crotch.

I'm assuming it's to help people with huge bellies see their side mirror but it's very inconvenient for your standard Coloradan driving dirty.

And I'll have you know my instant submission to your authority is only because the guys that come respond to my shops are pretty hot.

I know my born in 1978 F250 Ranger's frame is twice as thick as her X-boyfriends F150. That's what she says at least.

Don't be a pussy. Get the F450.

Dunerdr 04-23-2023 06:50 PM

Get a 250 unless you plan to pull daily. Put air bags on the rear to give it 90% of a 350s capability. Obviously you wont have the dual rear wheels but it’ll be easier to park and a ar better regular driving.

Is this poster going to chime in?
