Great. But why make the exact same commercial, with the exact same gag? They missed an opportunity to give it some sort of new twist.

Like, get the original painter guy and have it reveal it says “CHIFS” this time,
Or, it says chefs and as Reid is walking away cut to Guy Fieri on the sideline giving the painter guy a thumbs up, or saying “I kinda like it” or something.

Even the commercials are remakes now

That requires a little imagination and such...you missed your calling.

And I bet the old guy from the original is no longer with us...

He’s still around and he’s pissed about the Super Bowl turf in Arizona. The ‘sod father’ was not pleased.

The old guy "Yeeaaahhhh" at the end of the first one is perfection.
