Celtic punk has contributed great Christmas songs. Many much better than the traditional songs.

I dunno about that. I may have to disagree with you.

This Kelce/Swift/Kelce/State Farm Jake/Mama Kelce/ thing taking on a life of itself.

Would like to see Trav go something like 7 for 10 for 90 yards with a TD or two, that's all.

Did you guys know the original version of that by The Pogues is the most popular Christmas song in the UK?

Chieftain 11-16-2023 12:28 PM

That was actually pretty good. Jason is a cool dude.

Shane MacGowan, the lead singer for The Pogues, has been in inpatient care for the past year. He has viral encephalitis.

Yeah, this after almost drinking himself to death too. And Kristy MacColl - whose part Kelce took - was killed in a boating accident.

I'm a huge fan of The Pogues and I loved that that's the Christmas song they chose to cover.

That is Bill Nighy. You’re thinking of Charles Dance. :thumb:

Pogues were awesome!

Got to hang out with them at Roseland in NYC about 30 years ago. Never saw anyone do that much blow and alcohol and live. Sat and listened to Shane talk for a half hour. Didn’t understand a word he said, but had a great time.
