What's going on with Arrowhead at night?

Good God, get some more light on that field!!

Nothing is going on. KC has the highest drop rate and they play at Arrowhead. Makes sense they have the highest drop rate of any stadium.

The data isn't just for this year. 2016-Today

What are the numbers not including this year? Chiefs have had more than a seasons worth of drops in just the couple of night games this year.

The new press box at top of stadium I would assume affected the lighting on the field

I would bet it is more due to LED lighting. LED lighting creates darker shadows and tends to go straight from bright to black unlike the old types of lighting where it fades a bit before complete darkness.

Combine that with the 'new' light angles from the addition of the press box and it can have a huge impact.

Early/Late afternoon numbers would be skewed even more so towards more drops this year than the two night games... meaning if you took this year out of the equation, theoretically the gap would widen.

It's suggesting that night + bad receivers would make this season worse, not not the latter.

Interesting data, but I do agree knowing how each season skews the data would be interesting, too.

The crowd is way more hammered given they've been hittin' the bottle all day...so it's louder and ****s up WR concentration.
