Christmas movies tournament ROUND 2: Home Alone region
We are on to round 2! This was probably the toughest bracket with two lower seeds moving on. This region features a 3 vs 7 matchup with movies that people seem to feel strongly about one way or the other for different reasons. Is Die Hard a Christmas movie? Is A Christmas Story overrated? Lets find out!

I know there was some chatter about Home Alone not being a Christmas movie and after rewatching it recently I really don’t get how that is possibly a valid suggestion. Beyond taking place at Christmas time, there are countless scenes directly related to Christmas traditions and concepts.

The family was taking a Christmas trip, kid was decorating a ****in Christmas tree at one point, Christmas light decorations on all the houses, they play Rockin Around the Christmas Tree.. I mean. It is a quintessential Christmas movie. The second one probably even more so. |
