Can't really say I'm a fan of that one. Guy got a fairly light sentence as it was (and got DAMN lucky the girl pulled through) - doesn't seem like commuting the sentence serves the public good here.

I don't like this streak of bad news that has started this week.

i saw this type of shit a lot when I was locked up... Not to this degree but personally, I'm not too surprised at all.

I'm not familiar with the nuances of this process. Do they ever release a justification for these?

Generally just a list. Pardons on one list and commutations on the others.
