I find the signal boosters actual hurt my reception on some channels more than it helps. I put up one of these

in my attic and connected to the cable splitter in my house since I don't use it for actual cable TV and I get everything perfectly now. Used this site to find the best direction to face it towards when I set it up.

So am I understanding right, if you have the antenna pointed to pick up the one channel you lose the other ones, and vice-versa? If so you could try two antennas connected through a diplexer to combine the signals.

Get it as close to the outside wall as possible. Dont cheap out on the antenna.

Use a powered, amplified antenna. I have something similar to this in my attic, and I have the signal split among 5 rooms with a powered repeater/splitter:

Point it at the correct direction according to this website. Click on the station names to apply them to the map, then aim the antenna accordingly.

Nut, bring yourself one of them little sweethearts from work home with you. You won’t need reception, just the light from the tv so you can operate, bounce a couple big nasties off her.

One thing you can do is find out where the transmitter is for a given station. For instance, if you're south of the KCTV5 transmitter, point your antenna north.

You can also buy a powered antenna. They usually work better.
