Lewis Black Tonight
 

Seeing Lewis Black tonight in Lawrence at the Lied Center. It's his final stand up tour. Saw him several years ago in Downtown Topeka. Back then the Phelps Clan was still doing their thing, and Lewis went out and talked to Fred for about 15 minutes right before the show started, and opened his show about the conversation. He's one of my all time favorite stand ups. Can't wait to see him again.

Always loved Lewis Black on the Daily Show back in the day. His comedy special with the "If it wasn't for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college" line is a line my dad and I quote to this day like 25 years after that special came out.

Loved when Pixar cast him as the voice of anger in the movie "Inside Out." Never a more perfect casting!

Saw him a few years ago in Salina. It just seemed like he was at a small venue and put about a quarter of the effort in that he would have at a bigger theater. it was still good, but wasn't what nearly what I was expecting.

Kind of amazed he'd even play at a small venue like Salina, KS. But it looks like he'll be playing there again Sunday night. Hopefully the show goes well, with laughs had by all, lots of crazy fingers going in every direction, as he rides off into the sunset.

the theater in Salina gets pretty good acts really. I've seen Rodney Carrington a few times, and his best performances have been in Salina.
