Props to Thuney. Surely our best OL.

He was great, per usual.

The one guy on offense who decided to show up today. Great job, Joe!

He wasn’t spectacular or anything. He did his job in a serviceable manner.
|
Thuney thrown in vs Myles Garrett and produces the best game of the season by a Chiefs LT.

Thuney wasn't anything resembling good. He was, at best, passable. And more accurately, he wasn't anywhere close to as good as Morris was during his better games this season. Hell, I'm not convinced he was obviously better than Kingsley was vs. the Ravens. He wasn't as bad as Bad Morris. That's about it. And as I said in the other thread -- fellas, if you think that was the best performance we've had by an LT this season, it should really REALLY worry you. Because that offense looked like shit. And they did so despite your belief that the LT situation was mostly rectified. I have some hope in that I don't think Thuney did a very good job over there and am reasonably confident that Humphries (or even Morris after another week or so of rest) will do better than that. |

It'd be better if a guy gave up a sack or two in a game than all of that pressure. At least you're only killing one drive instead of wrecking the entire offense for a half. |
