He's not even 2nd string. Each back just has the things he does best. And Hunt is clearly better at short yardage.

You wouldn't try to dig a hole in the ground with a snow shovel. You'd use the best shovel for that particular job.

Pacheco is a downgrade. 2 attempts to get a yard and he reerunedly puts his head down and runs into his own linemen. No vision.

Hunt is the better short yardage back. It's about situation.

This sounds crazy, but I think missing the 3rd and 4th and short to Pacheco is good in the long run. Every single short yardage play has gone to Hunt since then. Might have given them the thought process to use Hunt in power situations

Hunt is the overall better back. This drive is a perfect example of it.

Hunt may have stolen RB1 in this game, yeah.

Hunt should get most of the carries when we're playing a team with a really good front seven.

It's unlikely we're going to break a long run, and he's better at turning 2-yard gains into 5-yarders.

The best of both worlds has them at 1A and 1B.
