Running Backs

I know our line is pretty bad but we need to talk about Hunt & Pacheco. Those guys YPC the last few months of the season were really bad. The running back room needs an overhaul.

It needs a difference maker….

But does it really matter when you have a HC who basically sees the running game as a nuisance?

Hes used the run game alot more the past few years arguably helped carry us to a title and part of this season

Not really. There was no need to use a RB today since we were down all game.

I think I was more pleased with our RB attack more than ever, at least since we had rookie Kareem. Hunt was an absolute godsend in short yardage this year. Which is the only real purpose of a RB.

Why Not? 02-09-2025 11:34 PM

Needs an overhaul. KHunt back as short yardage guy is fine. Pacheco either has not fully recovered or was a 7th round pick playing way out in front of his skis for a few years. Need to figure that out and if it’s the latter, we need to get a true number one type

FloridaMan88 02-09-2025 11:35 PM

Longest run for the Chiefs this season… 34 yards.

Adding an Achane-type explosive RB is a must this offseason.

There absolutely a need for a RB the Eagles were able to pin back and own the line because we refused to run. We refused to run because we don't have a RB worth a ****

We basically bottled up the best RB in the league. RB isn’t where the need is. It’s at OL. Gotta fix the OL.

Yes if the running back can catch the ball. We don't have any of those other than Perine and we refused to use him, Kareem is too slow to do anything after catches anymore and Pacheco isn't a good pass catcher.

We need to add a dynamic RB to this offense badly.

Well moving your future hall of fame guard to tackle will make your run game worse.

We didn't run because we had to play Caliendo at Guard.

Why would we run if the avg pass is almost 2x as effective as running?

Philly didn't need to run in this game. When they tried we stuffed their shit in.

RBs barely matter. 2.3 ypc for Saquan.

How can you say that when neither back was explosive the last several months of the season? RB is absolutely a need the oline isn't going to make Kareem Hunt any younger or give Pacheco vision and neither of them can catch out of the back field

Even with Thuney at LG earlier in the season, the Chiefs couldn’t break explosive runs.

We ran the ball plenty this year and didn't do much at all

RBs absolute matter this is an absurd take if you think you can just drop back and throw 50 times a game
