First 4 round mock
1. Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M - I just keep coming around to this guy at 31 for over a month now. That rarely happens. Barring Nolen or Harmon falling, I think this is our guy.
2. Omarr Norman-Lott, DT, Tennessee - 3 tech with high upside as a pass rusher. I think the Chiefs sign a veteran run stuffer and invest a high pick in a pass rusher to develop behind CJ. 3. Dylan Sampson, RB, Tennessee - great speed and legit HR ability to go with being a legit 3 down back makes Sampson a perfect fit for this offense. I like the value a lot here in a deep RB class. 3. Charles Grant, OT, William & Mary - I don't think the Chiefs are done at T, but I don't think they take one early. This seems like the right spot to take a high upside developmental T, and Grant is probably becoming my favorite. 4. Kyle Williams, WR, Washington St. - very underrated player in a weak WR class. I just don't get it. I don't think he has any business being here, but if he is, I hope the Chiefs continue to add young talent to the WR room. |

Omar Norman-Lott has the highest pass rush win rate of any DT in this draft class. He’s got a great first step.
I love everything but the tackle pick bc I think they can snag a good corner or safety there. Unfortunately I think you’re right that they will take a Tackle as insurance |
I'd be pretty damn stoked with this. If an NT with some pass-rush potential was available at our 2nd pick, I might prioritise, but I doubt they are.
Really like Sampson, and Grant as a developmental OT. Great mix of immediate and future needs catered to |
