So it's basically an all SEC playoff at this point

I haven't cared about college football in about 5 years

So now winning your conference doesn't matter

The SEC & Big 10 are going to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs.

I dunno, it seemed dumber before and a lot of people complained about boring games largely due to the format.... why have Penn State destroy #11 SMU and then destroy "#3" Boise State just to finally get a decent match up, because Boise won their shitty conference? :shrug:

College sports have become obsolete with the new transfer and payment to athletes approved by the NCAA. **** them, it's sad history.

Here's how we fix college football. Get rid of the non-conference cupcakes at the start of the year. Make every game count.
- 10 Conference Games to determine the playoffs.
- 32 Team Playoff:
-Top 5 teams from the Big Ten, SEC, Big 12, and ACC get in.
- Champions from the other 6 conferences get in.
- Next 6 best teams or let the #2 team in the other 6
conferences in.

The teams not in the playoff get to play 2 more games.Losers in the first two rounds of the playoffs get to play other losers. That gives everyone a minimum of 12 games.

College football didn't need fixing until Conference realignment about 10 years ago. People complained about the BCS / two team playoff, but those systems in hindsight made for more intrigue.

Why do i get this feeling in my guy that this is all because Alabama didn't make the playoffs?
