I have to say that the Lakers having won 10 straight seem to be better than any of the last championship teams. Not only that but they are relaxed and having fun like none of the other teams ever have. It's weird watching Kobe joking with Shaq and Carl and Payton. The confidence is just oozing out of their pours. It's like they already know they have won it all. The D is playing great. Offensive boards are off the scale. This team has just beginning to gel and they are already unbeatable IMO. The only thing that can stop them now is a major injury or two.

All I know is that I'd rather stay home watching Ally MacBeal reruns than take an all expense paid vacation to LA and be forced to sit through a Fakers game.

Somebody would have to front some cash for me to consider wasting 3 hours of my life. I think I'd rather watch 8 year old girls play ping pong.

Well if they continue to get breaks from the referees like last night they certainly will.

First quarter fouls:

L.A.-1 (and it was an intentional foul by Kobe with 2 seconds left in the quarter!)

Oh STOP :deevee: , Shaq and Carl continued to get fouled without calls. They hit them right on the arms in front of the refs with no calls. The Lakers are too physical for anyone so the other teams resort to fouling. The Lakers are on a 10 game win steak that saw them school the Timberpups and Queens like they were high school teams. You wanna blame it all the refs? OK :rolleyes:

So what? Kobe does that night after night to the guy he's defending. he doesn't get called for it either.

You really think Shaq played a 12 minute quarter without fouling anyone? You are a hardcore Laker fan, friend.

That would be true enough. But in all honesty, I can't stand the game anymore. Even if the Celtics were winning, I would barely watch it at all.

Heck, I barely watched the Red Sox last year and they got to a handful of outs away from the WS.

I'm a "pro football is no. 1, everything else sucks" sports fan, by and large.
