Hope Week 2 Isn't As Boring As Sky Captain Was...

CBS opens up with Jude Law introducing the NFL amidst Sky Captain footage. Took the kids to that movie on Friday after school. Nearly fell asleep. Absolutely boring IMO.

I liked it, although I don't think it deserved the four star rating it's been getting from critics. It was basically a throwback to the original Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon-type sci-fi serials, only on CG steriods. It borrowed elements liberally from everything from King Kong to Batman.

It was a silly, but fun, time-waster yesterday afternoon.

Hmm, looked intersting. I think I'll still hit it when it goes to the cheapo theatre.

I watched the game today and then went to see Sky Captain.
Sky Captain was better.

My thoughts exactly. (Saw it Saturday with the kids.)

I didn't care for Sky Captain.

Of course I didn't really care for the game today either.

Denver losing was nice, but otherwise the day sucked. Even the raiduhs won today. :shake:
