Bill Maas is an idiot...........

He was discussing the rule against celebrations on the penalty against McCleon, after the Ref made the call.

And that WAS a pushoff.

I don't think Mass has done a bad job, there was no push off on that play...

ChiefsOne 09-19-2004 01:15 PM

I have been thinking the same everytime he opens his trap.

ChiefsOne 09-19-2004 01:18 PM

Earlier when Tynes missed the field goal, he said they shouldn't have gotten rid of Morton Anderson, because he was points everytime. Can't keep Tynes just for kick offs, you need to teach your cover guys to tackle on kick offs. Anderson would have been down the middle, but 8 yards short.

Maas is a dumbass and used to be a Chiefs, where's the loyalty?

Pants 09-19-2004 02:06 PM

That reerun is pissing me off.

KCWolfman 09-19-2004 02:19 PM

As a person, he is pretty cool, but as an announcer he is a dumbass.

Ultra Peanut 09-19-2004 02:23 PM

Maas was absolutely horrible. My mouth was gaping in horror and amazement after about a dozen of his, erm, "insights."

What does "erm" mean?

Dalex 09-19-2004 02:32 PM

The only thing more shallow than the Chiefs depth and wide receiver has to be Fox's depth of color commentators.

It's a word that's made when an "um" and an "err" love each other very much.

I want a constitutional amendment to prevent this sort of thing! Words should only be created by vowels and consonants.

It was not a push off, Mcleon is just overmatched at corner. He looked like he would be cut by a semi-pro team today.
