Well, that sucked...

...the Broncos' defense did exactly what I thought they would do to the Jags, but I fully expected Denver to put up 14-17 points minimum.

That damn fumble... 2 in 2 weeks for Q. The game was won... Elam was in his money range and Q has to fumble. The Tatum Bell Watch has begun in my opinion, let's see what the rookie can do. Plummer was fine, and it's a shame that none of the receivers behind Rod want to step up.

It's just too bad that they can't play KC 17 times a year. It's only week 2, and it's all up for grabs. My only regret from the day is benching Foster in favor of Travis Henry. We'll see how that pans out.

Later,

I saw that Plummber averaged 6 whole yards per pass, and led your team to 6 points.

Sounds like he's really coming around.

Beating the Chiefs at home apparently isn't much of statement.

It may be a long year for both of us.

CHIEF4EVER 09-19-2004 02:45 PM

NOTHING warms my heart like a Donx loss....except maybe a Faider loss.

Mile High Mania 09-19-2004 02:59 PM

Well, despite what anyone wants to say about stats... I mean, they can be twisted to fit any argument. Denver's offense put up 6 on the road against a tough Jags' run defense. KC's offense put up 10 at home against a defense that let the Packers do well.

You can search the archives (call KCTitus for help), but I said Denver's offense would struggle in September. I sure as hell thought 14 points would have been more than enough to expect this week, but KC fans have no room to talk about not being able to score points this week.

And, that's the bottom line...

Katipan 09-19-2004 03:02 PM

I think the bottom line is we both lost.

Our stats looked great in the first half. *twist twist twist*

I predicted the Jags would win 17-16, looks like I was off by 10. But, it's the "L" that counts! :thumb:

All I said was that Plummber is obviously a force to be reckoned with....geez, can'tcha take a compliment?

Nice call, that should take some of the sting away from being 0-2. What did you predict on the KC/Carolina game? Easy to predict a loss against the team you hate most - Let's hear that one, brutha... :p Were you thinking KC by 14 or so?

 You're right.... for the second straight week, Plummer has a better rating than TrInt Green. 77.9 to 54.4

Now, I think little of the QB rating, but you guys were high on it during the preseason. So far in 2004 ... we've seen why Green is better than Plummer.

I agree...Plummber has inherited Elway's mantle. He obviously doesn't need Portis to score points.

Congrats. Plummber has become a man.

Well I sure won't bag on the Donkeys. We definately have no room to do any bagging.

As far as QG goes it does appear he has trouble hanging on to the ball. I picked Denver to win and they came up short. Personally I am glad they lost to keep us in the race. But man there needs to be a big shake up at Arrowhead.

I'm serious...6 yards per pass, and 6 points, are nothing to sneeze at...you couldn't put up those kinds of numbers if you were staying in the pocket and reading he field, no waaaaaay.

He's taken an evolutionary step in his game.

Why do CHIEF topics come into play here on a *CHEATING DONX thread that you started?

But, I'll play along anyway - I predicted Carolina to win 20-17, easily verified by logging on to the Chiefs Planet Yahoo Pick'em board.

So there you go my brotha.

P.S. -- I HATE the *DONX because they CHEAT, have a hypocritical owner, and have very arrogant fans. Some are even passive aggressive spin doctors like yourself. I said all along that the once the *CHEATING DONX play a real defense, especially on the road, they wouldn't have any "O" as they would miss Portis and Sharpe. I also said the CHIEFS would finish 10-6 and the *CHEATING DONX would finish 9-7. Plenty of season left. Let's see how I fare at year's end.
