WEIRD: After 2 Weeks There Will Be 6 Teams 2-0, 6 Teams 0-2, and 20 Teams 1-1

Just found that interesting...The fact that we're 0-2 while everyone else in the AFC West is 1-1 makes this loss a little more easy to take.

Oh what am I saying...it still sucks, it was a pathetic performance and the Chiefs probably won't win more than 4 games all year.

The weird part is that the Raiders and Chargers will both have better records than us and that we share the same season record as Arizona.

RINGLEADER 09-19-2004 05:35 PM

I found the fact that there are so few teams undefeated and so few teams sucking azz to be unusual...nearly two-thirds of the league is playing .500 ball right now...

Too much parity thanks to free agency

headsnap 09-19-2004 05:41 PM

and if you add the # in both columns, you get 32-32.

creepy...

Demonpenz 09-19-2004 05:41 PM

Lincoln and Kennedy both thought it was weird

HolmeZz 09-19-2004 05:44 PM

There will only be 5 teams undefeated after tomorrow night though:

Patriots
Lions
Falcons
Jaguars
Vikings/Eagles winner

Not only that, but if you add the 6 teams that are undefeated, the 6 teams that are winless, and the 20 teams at .500... you get 32 teams, and that's the SAME NUMBER OF TEAMS THAT ARE IN THE NFL!!!!

Chargers only win, 0-2 Houston. Raiderz only win, 0-2 Buffalo. We lost to the NFC CHAMPION and an AFC playoff team. I'm not worried yet.

Now that scares me. Only 1 winning season after starting 0-2. Not looking good right now folks.

Are you not the one who started the thread saying that the Pats starting 0-2 a couple years ago meant nothing? I agree with that 100%, but I don't see how you can say that on one thread then turn around here and say that this stuff right here scares you.....

No what I was trying to say was there is no reason to compare the 03 Pats to the 04 Chiefs. They are uncomparable IMO. I started the thread so I could vent the fact that Chiefs players and fans are saying that well since the Pats went 0-2 and won the SB then we can. IMO they are living in fantasy land if they are going to try to compare themselves to the Pats of last season.
And yes I am scared as I was hoping for a trip to the SB this season.

Man, that makes me remember the Paul Wiggin/Tom Bettis era. :shake:
