I got an offer of Stephen Davis, Eric Moulds and Marc Bulger for Kevan Barlow, Trent, and Plaxico Burress today.

Now, I have LT and Thomas Jones as my starters, so I wouldn't need Davis to start for me.

I'm worried bout the injury history of Barlow.

Would you make this trade?

My roster: Trent, Gannon, Palmer
LT2, T. Jones, Barlow, Suggs, S. Jackson
Chad Johnson, Plaxico, Colbert, Steve Smith, Brandon Lloyd


His roster: Bulger, Favre, Warner
Deuce, S. Davis, Garner, Dayne, Dunn
Moulds, J. Smith, Branch, Fred. Mitchell, Ike Hillard.

If I were offering my advice to HIM, I would say take the deal...

I just hate Plaxico and I can't see Trent putting up great numbers if he has to do the receiver shuffle every week.

Plus, if Barlow gets hurt then my trading piece and depth go to hell.

Very tought call. I dont like trading for an injured Steven Davis since he may also lose some carries due to Foster.

But you still upgrade 2 starting positions. Id lean more towards doing it if you feel Trent is going to keep playing the way he has. If not i tend to shop Barlow around in a package that includes a better WR. He should pull more than you are geting.

Can you get him to include Deuce instead?

I wish.

It's a one player keeper league so I imagine he's untouchable.

I might try to get Garner and Davis and give him Suggs and Barlow.

I'm really torn about this.

Isn't Suggs expected to be the Cleveland super-back when he returns? I'd take Barlow and Suggs over Garner and Davis... I think. Garner is going to lose carries when Michael Pittman gets back.

Screw it.

I'll keep what I have even though Burress is going to be the death of me.

If you are stuck on getting a new WR, I'd consider a guy like Suggs and/or Plexiglass for a someone like Hines Ward maybe even a rookie like Roy Williams.

I just read an article about S. Davis and I'm torn again. He said he is going to be back a lot sooner than 5 weeks.

I think a lineup of Bulger, LT, T. Jones, CJ, Moulds is better than Green, Barlow, LT, CJ, Burress.

I'm going to try to get him to include Shockey for Boo Williams and I think then I will make this deal.

I would not take that deal..........

I'd stay away. Davis is hurt, and I like Barlow.

I've been offered Randy Moss and Lee Suggs

for

Chris Brown & Chad Johnson

My backs are Shawn Alexander, Rudi Johnson, O Smith, Q griffin & Brown.

My WRs are Johnson, Moulds, Darrell Jackson.

Brown has been a stud but he got banged up in college a lot. I've tried to send him Brown and Jackson or Brown and Moulds but he will not do it.

Taking Suggs is a rish, but I think he is the Browns best back when he comes back (Buy low theory)

Very tough call since you will be gambling on Suggs turning out to be above average.

Chad Johnson will be a stud against average (or lesser) defenses, but who knows how often Palmer can find him against Defenses like the Ravens. The Miami game was hopefully a fluke.

I understand the doubts about Chris Brown. He has that upright running style that tends to lead to taking big hits. Throw in the past injury history and he becomes a gamble.

Running backs are gold in FF, but I would be VERY tempted to take the trade for Moss. We do get 1 pt. per reception in my league, so that might be a good excuse for me to take the trade.

Conventional wisdom would probably say to keep your players. Chad Johnson < Moss while Chris Brown >> Suggs until he does something.

Are you in a flex league? How many RB/WR do you have to start?

Personally I wouldn't touch this deal. I am not sold on Bulger being any better than Green. Moulds is tempting, but Davis is not. I'd wait and see what Deshaun does vs. a non-Chief defense, then make the choice. I see Davis losing some carries when he returns. I am still high on Barlow. Fred Beasely came back and Barlow went off.
