take it one week at a time, one game at a time.
If at the end of this season KC is playing better football and improving as a team, then you have a reason to be optimistic. If, however, by the 16th game you don't see much improvement and this team seems to be stalling due to a stagnant offense, then you have a reason to be doubtful. I think this is an 8-8 team which is a huge improvement and nothing to balk at.
