Gee, three guys, who each have one super bowl, and the year they won their super bowls, Peyton Manning, super bowl sealed by Kelvin Hayden and it was more the defense that won the super bowl, Aaron Rodgers, super bowl sealed by Picks by Bj Raji, and Nick Collins, and was more about the defense than the offense, and Drew Brees, who had a defense that created turnovers left and right, and was sealed by Tracy Porter on a mistake by forehead.

And whether it's right or wrong, I'd bet anything that Bowe would rather be 2-1 with 20+ catches than 3-0 getting ignored.
WR's are divas.

I really question if you have watched that Jets defense. It probably is every bit as good as the Chiefs. Especially in the front 7. they are hellacious. You couldn't go wrong arguing for the Chiefs Jets, or Seahawks defenses as the best in football right now.......No talent on offense though? Santonio Holmes is proving hes not dead yet, Stephen Hill has taken a gigantic step forward. Oh, and their oline is considered by some to be playing the best in football right now. But, lol, you don't want anyone to blame the oline in Kansas City, although Eric Fishers struggles are garnering national attention. Not to mention that if homers, would take their glasses off. Donny Avery is a number three on most good teams, Dwayne Bowe is being double covered, and the Chiefs really don't have one starting caliber tight end on their roster.......

I mean, you can't say "Smith just wins" while ignoring the 3 and outs from midfield and from inside the 10 in the first quarter last week AND say the team would be worse off if they had a QB who sacrificed a couple of INTs for stretching the field.

Everyone pretty much understood that the offense was going to be a work in progress before the season started, now on a short week, Fasano out, Eric Fisher looking completely lost, and the play calling itself was about 85 percent shot gun bullshit, and the play calling was horrendous. There was so much more to that game than the qb. Funny though. When the Chiefs committed to the run in the 4th quarter, sat Alex Smith under center, with Anthony Sherman in front of Charles, the offense looked GREAT. I think that play calling, and situational play calling especially needs to take some of the blame. Unless some how alex smith is at fault for Andy Reid calling for a shot gun option play to DEXTER mccluster from 4 yards out????

Even his supporters said that would be about where he was. hes not a stats guy. And again, other than Bowe and Charles who should the defense really focus on?
The Saints you have to cover Graham, Colston, and Sproles, and then Lance Moore kills you if you focus on those guys. The packers have Nelson, Cobb, Jermichael, then you just throw in James Jones and that's just a head ache. The offense has to find consistency, but placing this all at the feet of a qb who has not turned the ball over at all, and proven to be clutch when needed, is hilarious. Eli Manning, 0-3, Ben Roethlisberger 0-3, Kaep 1-2, Aaron Rodgers 1-2. Every single one of them, can take some blame to themselves because their turnovers, have hurt their teams.....

Did you see the SNF package about Cutler getting rid of the ball in under 2 seconds?
Considering we don't throw the ball down the field, AS should have no problem getting rid of the ball quickly.
The problem is, he's slow to make decisions, gets happy feet, and often runs himself into more trouble - though often running himself out of trouble.
I understand that people are happy with the 3-0 start - I am as well. I'm breaking my own rule and going to the game on Sunday.
But to act as if AS has been the reason we're winning, while ignoring his limitations is just sticking your head in the sand. It's OK to admit that we've been fortunate, and that we have some issues on offense. It doesn't make you a bad fan.

The packers oline when they won the super bowl, had long time left tackle, chad Clifton, and long time right tackle Tauscher. This is always funny to me.
The bears, have added Jermon Bushrod, and Kyle long, as well as an offensive genius to their offense. Not to mention Martellius Bennett, and they have forte, and a quality back up running back. They also can run out Earl Bennett as a security blanket for Jay Cutler, and I did all that without mentioning a top 5 wide receiver in Brandon Marshall.
