He then went 4-11 as a starter in 2009.

He was 14-16 going into 2010 even after winning 10 starts in NE in 2008.

I cant figure out any way even with the 10-6 season his loss record went backwards.

Maybe I am missing the time frame you are referring to but I cant make it work.
