Giving up a second round pick (probably 2) for a backup QB (regardless of how well he played or how he lost his job).... Where had I seen that before?
Either way, I'm on board now. Between A. Smith and S. Smith (I'm still holding out hope that Fisher doesn't totally suck), Dorsey's shown a pretty good eye for talent in turning the roster around and Reid is everything we thought he'd be. Like I said, I still have some reservations about whether we can compete with the elite teams with Smith, but I'll worry about that when the time comes.

You were not wrong. chiefs fans deserve a home grown star QB. It just wasn't the year. And in your defense, Fisher hasn't played any better than Geno Smith.
