The team needed an "Alex Smith"(due to the prospects this year being developmental guys all around), but the cost for Axl was too high IMO, especially if Reid ties himself to him against Dorsey's better judgement.

And I can accept that premise....it is just my opinion that 1.1 was too high for him.
And....for me time will tell whether I was right or wrong by the end of the season.
