I don't think anyone is ignoring this defense. I think they are quite fun to watch. The offense has to get better. Its been the mantra for weeks. I do think one thing you said was incorrect. The Colts showed last night that you can slow down the Broncos. They battered Peyton, and Darius Butler until he got nicked completely shut down Wes Welker. The Broncos are beatable.

Alex Smith is a huge anchor to the offense. But he is not the only ANCHOR on the offense. Lets not kid ourselves. What you have to do when you have a mediocre qb, at the very least, is surround him with weapons. I have maintained for weeks that upgrades at the receiver, and tight end positions would do wonders for this team. And don't even get me started on if Charles gets hurt..
