If they get swept by the Broncos, lose to the Colts, etc; and then go one and done in the playoffs, it's certainly not time to panic... but, it would obviously be disappointing if they turned around and signed Smith to a long term deal with no thought to drafting another QB, even if it would be just another Chiefs offseason.

Well, Alex is 1-1 in the playoffs. One impressive game, and one "not so much."
But really, wouldn't you want to draft a QB anyway?
