Adam,

Why did you call Game #4 a "miracle sequence 3 point shot" when the Kings BLATANTLY CHOKED away a 24 point lead?

Um, maybe because if the volleyballing of the loose ball doesn't go to Horry for the winning 3, no one would have said boo about the losing of a 24 point lead.

And did you forget Game #2 and Game #5 "hometown referreeing" with regards to the number of early fouls on Kobe and Shaq? In fact, the Diesel was off to a monster performance in Game #5 before the zebras sent him to the bench with 3 fouls early in the 2nd quarter.

The legend grows. First, you griped about Game 5 last year. Now, it's both Game 2 and Game 5. A spoiled cheeseburger did Kobe in a lot more so than the refs in Game 2.

But I do understand your frustration with that series as that was the last time you saw them play in 2002.

Guess that means December 25, 2002 doesn't count.

Lakers fans only rehash that when it is harvest season for the Farmers. (i.e. play-offs).
Guess again. Lakers fans are rehashing this because they know the Kings are coming and realize they better hope the Kings keep choking or there won't be anyone to save them. Not the Kings. Not the refs.

Celtics could only hold the Pistons back for so long.

Pistons could only hold the Bulls back for so long.

And the Lakers can only hold the Kings back for so long.

And what do you think about the Suns wrestling with the Boot Accessorizors? All that planning to stay away from the Spurs bracket and now the Lakers get a bye into the Western Conference Finals?
I think it's wonderful at least one team is sweating out the 1st Round. Looks like the past 2 games proved it will be a 7 game series instead of a 6 game series. Still feel very confident in the Spurs to win.

San Antonio is getting a huge case of Spur-itis and needed a South American rookie to hit the big 3 down the stretch tonight to ice the game. They are playing really tight and Marbury is eating Parker's lunch. Duncan is fretting over FTs for chrissakes!!!!
Yes they are. All they need to do is advance past this round and club it out with the Lakers for 7 before bowing out. Make it a very grueling series and inflict a physical toll on the Lakers. Then hopefully, the Kings will await in the Western Conference Finals and we can get it on once again.

I'm becoming more confident by the game though of a possible KIngs-Spurs Western Conference Finals; should that ever come to pass.

MVP you ask? Pullleeezzeeee.....

I never had Duncan as the MVP. Matter of fact, Kobe has my vote, followed by McGrady, Garnett, and then Duncan.
