Good point. I could be wrong, but I think that
he'd be an UFA because he has more than 4 yrs NFL experience. So we'd be competing for his services if someone else was interested. Word is that there's not much demand right now. So a team with KC's record and need at TE depth would seem to make them an attractive destination for Davis. At least that's my homeristic viewpoint. He's no TG, but we need help at the position. And Dorsey has said that he's stingy with his draft picks. (Unless it involves Alex Smith.
