Holy moly. That's about 10 times what I would've expected.
Here's some airplane trading site and it's showing prices in the high 40s for planes that are 60 or 70 years old:

I don't get it. Why are they so expensive? There's not that much technology behind them. It seems like you could recreate them quite easily. Is it legal liability stuff? Do they make newer versions of this plane?
