It's obvious that some people here will never change. Once they've made up their mind about someone, they'll never see him as good enough, even if he plays as good as one should realistically expect.
I hated Alex Smith, at first. I thought he was a slightly better Matt Cassel. Now I know that he's more around the level of Trent Green, and I know what good he did back in the day. If other people don't want to admit it, then they can wallow in their own hatred until they get their golden boy. As for me? This is the best QB we've had in a decade and until he starts sucking, I'll support him.
