Yes he is, as are quite a few other planeteers. Like any city, it is what you make of it. I lived there about 40 years and raised a family. Never went a day without a job, plenty of employment if you are of a mind that you actually want to work.
If you like bowling, golf, drag racing, circle burners, gambling, eating out, shooting darts, playing pool, watching minor league sports or hanging out at bars, visiting a world class zoo,
Art museum, visiting the
Indian Center there are lots of choices.
Like someone mentioned, if you like College Basketball, the Shocks are ranked 4th in the Nation right now, and if you can get a ticket there is nothing like watching them at the "roundhouse" it rocks.
The younger crowd really likes the scene at Old Town, that is pretty much party town IMO.
Heck, if you just want to drive around, there is some nice scenery, like
"Keeper of the plains", the aircraft plants might be interesting to drive by for an out of towner.
Someone also mention the
Oasis Lounge, one of the best burgers around. RIP Ray Larkin!
