Sorry I wasn't suggesting people don't know it , I was just listing why it's not worth my effort to do it. As per radar jammers being illegal...sure...but the reality is you won't have the gear to detect it unless I really give you reason to do so.
Lidar Jamming isn't really illegal in most places because its not regulated by the FCC, but technically it's much harder to do effectively because many countermeasures can be defeated in a straight forward way.
The on exception is automated speed cameras etc. Not only are those the devil, they're also much easier to fry because you know where there are. If someone really wanted to cook the camera sensor and or the lidar/radar sensor for those they could do so much easier
For me the issue is you're always fighting the losing battle here, it's better to drive 'smarter' than it is to try to beat the tech.
