Anyway, Berry is thrown at more than any other safety because teams know he's capable of being beaten. That's why they throw at you. They know they've got a good or better shot of being successful and until Berry shores up that facet of his game, they'll keep going at him.
Right now, he's more reminiscent of the other top five pick at the safety position LaRon Landry than he is Ronnie Lott. He's a very good player, but he's very good in a limited scope as a defensive back. And it's his liability in the passing game that's put a lot of pressure on our CB's and even Kendrick Lewis, who teams have put on an island as they know Berry is basically playing the third linebacker spot versus being able to get into the deep part of the field and be effective.
