I didn't say he hurts the team overall, but his play in the past month clearly wasn't helping... he wasn't the only thing holding them together while flopping around, going 3/14 from the field, and hitting 10 FTs. They can make up 10 or 15 points with a higher percentage of quality possessions.
I hated to bring up one game, because one or 3 games is obviously too small of a sample to determine anything, but the fact is they haven't won a game in a month. When Smart is playing well,
of course he's going to elevate the team... and love him or hate him, it's pretty clear he wasn't doing that in the few weeks before his suspension.
