Did you even watch the games against Denver? Smith went throw for throw with Manning. He does it against every "elite" QB that he faces.
The only difference? Their level of receivers. Chiefs WRs are dogcrap compared to the Broncos' core. They can routinely make catches that Chiefs WRs will drop most of the time and that was the major difference in the losses.
