The difference is you can get these free agents to essentially take 1-2 year deals after you remove all the roster bonuses, but with Julius Thomas, Demariyus and Von Miller, that's not going to be a luxury you can pull off.

They only have 89m on the books for 2015. They can sign all 3 and still be under what the Chiefs have on books for 2015 120m.
