Depending on way too much via the crap shoot called the draft. This Free Agency period has been a disaster for the Chiefs. They've taken a huge step backwards.
I would rather depend on a winning strategy than lay up on a safe strategy that gives us a three year window on a team that still has long shot odds.

And we haven't taken a big step backwards. A few good picks and scrap moves and we could easily be as good if not better than last year.
